Michael Messner, professor of sociology, University of Southern California, will be the featured speaker for the UO Department of Sociology’s Winter Colloquium #6. He will speak on the subject of “Male Allies, and the Politics of Feminist Accountability.” Messner published most recently Some men: Feminist allies and the movement to end violence against women (coauthored with Max A. Greenberg & Tal Peretz) Oxford University Press, 2015.
