Yeti Campus Stories & Sexism in the Digital College Party Scene
Jeremiah Favara is a Graduate Teaching Fellow in the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies and a doctoral candidate in the School of Journalism and Communication. Focusing on representations of college party culture on Yeti: Campus Stories, a social media app, this presentation explores the role of social media in perpetuating and countering sexist spaces on college campuses.
