This discussion will focus on a chapter from Professor Seo’s forthcoming book, Policing Everyman: How Cars Transformed American Freedom (Harvard University Press, 2018). Policing Everyman tells the story of how cars transformed policing, the Fourth Amendment, and in the process the meaning of freedom.
